GENERAL QUESTIONS

  • A one-time non-refundable booking fee is required to reserve the date of your event. This can be paid by credit card.

    The booking fee is not applied to your total services. It goes towards reserving your date, stylist/artist, supplies needed that day, and the scheduling/coordination we do.

  • On Location Payment: When sending our team on-location to do hair and makeup, we send out an email one month prior to your event or wedding date. There will be 20% gratuity added to all on-location services which is reflected in your contract. For final payment we will send an electronic invoice due a week before your wedd. We do not accept cash or check.

    In Salon Payment: As our salon is continuously growing, we no longer have an event space to accommodate larger bridal parties. We only book in-salon wedding work on Sundays.

    Sunday Services Payment: We do book on-location wedding work on Sundays. Due to the salon not being open on Sundays, all other requested event services are booked through our agency on-location only and will be an additional cost since we would then be working outside normal business hours

    Travel Fee: For any on-location wedding outside of the 30-mile radius of Hunter Paige Salon we charge a travel fee. See below for Travel Expenses:

    The travel fee is 67 cents a mile round trips per stylist/artist we send out to you.

    Out- of- State Fees: If you would like to send our team out-of-state, you will be responsible paying for all accommodations for the trip. This includes booking/arranging flights, car expenses (whether it is a rental or Uber), Hotel expenses, etc.

  • Switching times/appointments is NOT allowed day of the event, although we are willing to work with you if time permits. Please let the wedding coordinator or team member know as soon as possible so we can see if switching times will work for you.

  • Yes! We require the Bride to have a trial run done with their stylist/artist prior to their wedding date. This helps make your wedding day run smoothly, ensuring you and your stylist/artist are comfortable.

  • We typically perform trial runs after the contract is signed and the booking fee is paid. This ensures that the stylist/artist doing your trial run will also be doing your wedding. We recommend 60-90 days before your actual wedding date.

  • One of our Hunter Paige event coordinators will reach out via email to book your trial run 60-90 days before your wedding date. We ask you arrive with clean, dry hair and a fresh face!

  • No. The trial run is paid separately from the wedding day payment and booking fee. Regardless of the outcome of the trial run you are required to pay for the services. Tipping is optional for this service but highly recommended.

  • You are allotted 2.5 hours for your hair and makeup trial run.

HAIR + MAKE UP

  • Additional services/people may be added day of the event ONLY if time permits and if the stylist/artist agrees to services. Our event coordinators will send an electronic invoice to pay for the additional services.

  • You are not allowed to subtract or substitute people or services once the document has been signed. If a substitution is absolutely needed, the client must notify Shatara Richards at least 48 hours before the actual wedding date.

  • We would recommend you contact our Event Director right away, so we can schedule another trial run with your stylist. You will be responsible for paying for additional trial runs.

  • Depending on your hair type (you know your hair better than we do) all we require is that you show up with clean dry hair. NO WET HAIR

    If our team members need to do an additional blowout due to wet hair or greasy hair, there will be an additional charge of $25.00. The team member will communicate this with you before services.

  • The Hunter Paige Wedding Team will stay 15 minutes after the last scheduled appointment to do touch ups. Any additional time requested after this will need to be added on the contract as a day-rate fee.

POLICIES

  • A consultation and deposit are required to place the order for hair extensions. Please allow at least 7 days for your hair to arrive before scheduling your installation appointment.

    Hunter Paige requires a credit card to be on file for all extension appointments.

    All hair extension are non-refundable and considered final sale.

  • Retail items may be returned within 30 days of purchase. Unfortunately, we do not accept refunds on makeup products or hair brushes.

  • We want to give every guest the time and attention that you deserve for your service. We understand that sometimes circumstances arise and you need to make adjustments to your plans. If you must cancel or rebook your appointment, we respectfully request at least 24 hours notice.

    Cancellations without 24 hour notice will result in a 50% charge of the scheduled services. No-shows or same day cancellations will result in a 100% charge of scheduled services.

  • We want each of our guests to feel confident and beautiful at the end of their appointment. If you are dissatisfied with your service please contact us within 7 days. We are more than happy to get you back into the salon as soon as possible to adjust any color or cut. 

STAFF

  •  20% gratuity will be added to all final invoices.

  • Yes, you can tip on your card. We split the tip up if you have multiple services done by different stylists.

  • Every makeup artist and stylist on the Hunter Paige wedding team has undergone an extensive audition and interview process to be a member and representative of our company. In order to maintain their position, they must complete regular education and training with our beauty director, Jen Tsourvakas.

    Due to high demand of all of our team members we ONLY allow the Bride to make a request for her personal services. One makeup artist and one hair stylist (or one person who does both services) may be selected for these services. Hunter Paige’s event coordinators will select from our artists the perfect team that will fit the aesthetic of your wedding and have availability that date.

    You must make this request within 30 days of signing the contract. There is no guarantee that the artist requested will be available on the date due to the number of weddings that are booked.

    Hunter Paige is not liable for any illness or emergencies that may occur that would prevent your desired stylist/artist from being a part of the wedding day. We will make sure that there is a team member to replace them if this were to occur.

    We do NOT provide champagne or orange juice for on location weddings!

  • We do NOT provide any food for weddings that are in salon, however we can recommend the following places. For parties greater than three people, we recommend placing your order a week in advance and having them deliver to the salon.
